Equipotential bonding in the main LV switchboard room of an office building

Equipotential bonding on the equipment of the main switchboard room: conductors run, fixed and connected to the earth bars.

01

The starting point

In the electrical room of an office building, the equipment had to be connected by equipotential bonding.

02

Our work

Equipotential bonding of the room's equipment: green-and-yellow conductors run, neatly fixed and connected to the earth bars.

03

The result

Metal parts bonded together and to earth, for an electrical room that is safer for the people working in it.

The project in detail

In the electrical room of this office building in Seine-Saint-Denis, which houses the main low-voltage switchboard, we carried out the equipotential bonding of the equipment.

The green-and-yellow conductors were run and neatly fixed along the walls, ducts and cable trays, then connected to the earth bars. Bonding the metal parts together and to earth limits potential differences in the event of a fault and protects the people working in the room.
