Complete rewiring of a fire-damaged electrical cabinet

The common-area cabinet had burnt out: made safe, fully rewired, cables re-run and labelled up to the flats.

01

The starting point

In a residence in Essonne, the electrical cabinet serving the ground-floor common areas burnt out: melted cables, destroyed equipment, flat supplies to be redone.

02

Our work

Making safe, complete rewiring of the cabinet and the ground-floor distribution, testing, re-running the cables to the flats and labelling each cable in the common areas.

03

The result

A rewired, tested cabinet back in service, labelled cables and flats supplied with power again.

The project in detail

After a fire, the electrical cabinet serving the common areas of this residence was out of use: melted cables, destroyed conduits, a blackened interior. Everything had to be redone to restore power to the residents.

We first cut the power at the upstream cabinet and checked the installation. Our team then fully rewired the cabinet and the ground-floor distribution, before re-running the supply cables to the flats and labelling each one in the common areas. Every circuit was checked before the power was restored.
