This Haussmann-style apartment still had an old electrical board, with handwritten labels and exposed conduits below the enclosure. We replaced it with a modern board and added, just below it, a communications enclosure for the internet box and the phone: everything is grouped in a clean, easy-to-reach technical cupboard.
In the rooms, the electrics were brought up to date: new sockets fitted flush with the skirting boards, recessed spotlights along the long corridor, fittings in the bathroom and supplies for the kitchen. Throughout the works, the floors were protected and the period features (mouldings, panelling and fireplaces) were respected.
